Unprofessional company who have attempted to extort more money after contracts have been signed and agreed to. Deliberately delayed shipments after demanding to be paid before the work has been completed. Not to mention generally disorganised and complicated to deal with.

We would like to clarify that we are not charging any additional fees beyond what was outlined and agreed upon in the signed contract. Our invoice reflects only the amounts stipulated in that agreement.

As per the terms of the contract, payment is due after packing has been completed. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we agreed to collect the remaining balance upon the shipment's arrival at the destination port but before the final delivery takes place.

Unfortunately, we are unable to proceed with customs clearance or delivery while there is an outstanding balance, as this would be a direct breach of the contract terms. The request to receive the shipment prior to payment is not supported by the agreement.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to the terms we both agreed upon.

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Transworld Brazil regarding their handling of my international relocation shipment from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Baxter, Australia.

On August 7, *******, Grace Removals in Melbourne confirmed that my shipment had arrived. However, on a phone call today they also informed me that Transworld Brazil claimed the service was only port-to-port despite all documented agreements, quotes, and invoices stating a door-to-door service was contracted and paid for.

I categorically reject this sudden and false claim. The attached documents irrefutably prove the following:

Door-to-Door Quotation:
The original service proposal from Transworld Brazil, dated April 2, *******, explicitly outlines a full door-to-door service. This includes customs clearance, transport to my residence, unpacking, assembly, and removal of debris (see Proposal 25-0514_V2).

Grace Removals Confirmation:
The destination partner, Grace International Removals, provided a detailed breakdown for their part of the door-to-door service, confirming their expected role as per the contract. Their quote matches the services outlined in Transworld's offer (Quote #D151056-A).

Consistent Misrepresentation:
Over the course of this shipment, Transworld Brazil has repeatedly altered key terms of the agreement in an apparent effort to extort additional money. This includes:

Unilaterally changing the port of departure from Rio to Santos after the 50% deposit was paid, forcing further costs and delays.

Providing an inaccurate inventory and stocktake, impeding my ability to complete customs documentation. (Once I have access to my beginnings, I will be preforming a full stocktake of the items to ensure nothing was deliberately stolen.)

Presenting an inflated local services invoice of USD $3,*******.03 (see Invoice. Lukas V.pdf), later revised to USD $1,******* (Quote #D151056-A). Yet the balance on the revised invoice still exceeds the final amount due as stated by Barbara (As per below) (Updated Invoice - Lukas Vincent) and contradicts earlier claims that these local charges were already paid.

Quote invoice Breakdown
Origin Services: $*******.36
Ocean freight: $*******
Destination services:$******* (grace quote)
Destination Port charges:$*******
Insurance premium: $*******,05
Total: U$7.*******,41

Final offset excluding destination services
Services rendered: $*******,41
50% adv payment: $*******,66

Pending: U$*******,75

Fabricated Destination Costs:
Despite the above payments, Transworld has now falsely informed Grace that I am responsible for all local port charges and final delivery costs. This is in direct contradiction to prior emails and documents showing those costs were covered and paid for in full, and included in the quoted door-to-door service.

Receipt of Ocean Freight Payment:
I have attached the receipt from Flash Cargo (USD $2,*******) confirming freight from Santos to Melbourne was paid (F5168 https://*******). I request the company provide the original quotation from the port of Rio to substantiate their claims the cost of the shipping container increased to USD$3,*******, without the need to send my shipment from Santos.

In addition, the company refused on multiple occasions to provide the OBL upon request, which is a violation of international law.

This behavior by Transworld Brazil represents gross misconduct, deceptive business practice, and a clear breach of contract. I respectfully request that FIDI (or the appropriate certification body) take immediate action to investigate this matter and consider revoking or suspending Transworld Brazils certification. Their actions are not only unethical but also damaging to the reputation of FIDI-accredited services globally.
